We are expanding our leadership team and seeking a seasoned and driven Personal Injury Manager to oversee operations across Pre-Litigation , Litigation , and Settlement . This leadership role ensures efficient case progression and resolution, upholding best practices and maintaining a high standard of client service throughout every phase of a personal injury file.

Job Summary:

The Personal Injury Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight and daily operations of all personal injury files from Pre Litigation through litigation and settlement. This includes leading teams handling pre-litigation, litigation, and settlement , ensuring cohesive collaboration, timely case movement, and alignment with firm goals all while working closely with the attorneys for legal guidance of the files

Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Oversight:

Supervise and mentor Case Managers, Paralegals, and Litigation Assistants in conjunction with supervisors Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and provide coaching across departments. Ensure alignment with firm protocols, productivity standards, and quality expectations across all PI phases.

File Movement & Case Lifecycle Management:

Oversee all personal injury files to ensure active progression toward settlement following company guidelines Coordinate with litigation attorneys and support teams to ensure deadlines, discovery, depositions, and hearings are well-prepared and executed. Ensure timely settlement discussions, mediations, and resolution strategies are initiated at the appropriate stage.

Quality Control & Documentation:

Conduct audits to ensure files meet legal standards and firm policies across pre-litigation and litigation stages. Verify accurate and thorough documentation in Clio, including discovery, pleadings, settlement communications, and trial prep.

Client Experience & Escalation Management:

Uphold exceptional client communication throughout the case lifecycle. Support escalated concerns and ensure smooth transitions between departments as cases evolve.

Provider, Attorney & Third-Party Collaboration:

Coordinate closely with attorneys to identify high-value or complex cases for prioritization. Facilitate communication with providers, opposing counsel, mediators, and lienholders to support settlement negotiations or litigation preparation.

Settlement Coordination:

Work with attorneys and settlement team to negotiate and finalize settlements. Ensure accurate and timely distribution of settlement funds and final accounting. Oversee lien resolution processes and ensure client satisfaction through case closeout.

Reporting & Metrics:

Generate weekly reports on case statuses, litigation milestones, settlements, and aging files. Track KPIs for individual team members and departmental performance across all stages.

Process Improvement & Strategic Development:

Identify workflow inefficiencies and department-wide opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with the Director of Operations on SOP creation, refinement, and cross-departmental integration.

Qualifications:

3+ years in personal injury law, including case management and litigation support , with at least 1 year in a leadership role. Deep understanding of pre-litigation, litigation, and settlement processes. Proficiency with Clio or similar legal practice management software. Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving abilities. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
