We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join our Bankruptcy practice. This role will involve assisting clients throughout the bankruptcy process, providing legal support, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in bankruptcy law and be eager to grow within a dynamic legal environment. Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and filing of bankruptcy petitions and schedules
Conduct legal research related to bankruptcy issues and case law
Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents
Support senior attorneys in commercial and bankruptcy litigation
Participate in mediation sessions and hearings
Analyze creditor’s rights and fiduciary responsibilities
Assist in the discovery process including depositions and interrogatories
Evaluate and pursue avoidance actions and claims for the benefit of creditors Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school
Active bar membership in relevant state
Strong understanding of bankruptcy law and processes
Experience with Chapter 11 proceedings is a plus
Familiarity with creditor’s rights and fiduciary duties
Excellent legal research and writing skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
