Non-Profit Legal Services A leading non-profit legal aid organization is seeking a Managing Attorney to lead its Real Property Rights Protection Unit. This is a unique opportunity to advance housing equity and safeguard generational wealth through a leadership role focused on protecting homeownership and land rights for underserved communities across a 12-county region in Central Florida. ??
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and support a team of attorneys and advocates focused on: Probate and title clearance Quiet title actions and tax deed issues Disaster-related property recovery and housing stability Land partition and property succession matters Lead litigation efforts and legal strategy within the unit Engage with community partners and conduct outreach to promote access to justice Ensure high-quality, client-centered legal representation ??
Ideal Candidate:
Licensed and in good standing with The Florida Bar 7+ years of legal experience (including 5+ years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred) Demonstrated commitment to equity, justice, and serving low-income and marginalized populations Strong background in litigation, staff management, and community engagement ??
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range:
