We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Immigration Attorney to join our team and support our clients in navigating the complexities of immigration law.

Job Summary:

As an Immigration Attorney, you will represent clients in various immigration matters, providing legal advice, preparing necessary documentation, and representing clients in court or before government agencies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of immigration law, strong advocacy skills, and a passion for helping clients achieve their immigration goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Client Representation:

Represent clients in immigration court and before government agencies, including the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Legal Advice:

Provide legal counsel to clients regarding their immigration status, rights, and obligations.

Document Preparation:

Prepare and file immigration applications, petitions, motions, and other legal documents.

Case Management:

Manage a diverse caseload of immigration cases, ensuring all deadlines are met and clients are kept informed of their case status.

Research:

Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and stay current on changes in immigration laws and regulations.

Client Communication:

Maintain regular communication with clients, answering their questions and providing updates on their cases.

Advocacy:

Advocate for clients’ rights and interests, developing strong legal strategies to achieve favorable outcomes.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure comprehensive and effective legal representation.

Community Outreach:

Participate in community events and outreach programs to educate the public about immigration laws and services offered by the firm.

Confidentiality:

Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Support Tasks:

Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the legal team.

Qualifications:
Education:

Bachelor’s degree (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Licensure:

Must be admitted to the bar in any U.S. state.

Experience:

Previous experience practicing immigration law is strongly preferred.

Language Skills:

Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Organizational Skills:

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with legal software and case management systems.

Interpersonal Skills:

Professional and approachable demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.

Time Management:

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Legal Knowledge:

Thorough understanding of immigration law, procedures, and documentation.
