JobDetails This role is perfect for an attorney coming out of a biglaw firm who is seeking a larger role that includes more clientinteraction, trial preparation, and hands-on litigation experienceand mentorship. We are seeking a highly motivated Personal InjuryDefense Attorney with experience representing corporations inlitigation, particularly in defending complex personal injury,premises liability, automobile negligence, third-party propertyclaims, and medical malpractice cases.

Key Responsibilities:

Defendbodily injury claims, including those related to premisesliability, automobile negligence, medical malpractice, personalinjury, and third-party property claims. Handle complex litigation,representing clients in cases involving insurance defense, premisesliability, medical malpractice, and personal injury. Conductthorough legal research to support case strategies and draftpersuasive legal documents, including motions, pleadings, discoveryresponses, and settlement proposals. Prepare for various courtproceedings, including depositions, hearings, and trials, ensuringthat clients’ interests are fully represented and advocated.

Collaborate closely with large companies to develop case strategiesand manage claims effectively. Represent clients in commercialdisputes, declaratory actions, and interpleaders. Represent medicaldoctors and other healthcare professionals in administrativeactions taken by regulatory boards, including the Florida Managelitigation from start to finish, ensuring all legal filings aretimely and all strategic options are explored. Negotiatesettlements and collaborate with opposing counsel, clients, andinsurers to resolve cases efficiently. Uphold the highest ethicalstandards and professionalism in all aspects of clientrepresentation. Play an active role in client interactions and casemanagement, allowing for direct involvement in shaping legalstrategies and decisions. Juris Doctor (JD) Licensed to practicelaw in [State] with active membership in good standing. Minimum of5 years of experience in personal injury defense, insurancedefense, or related practice areas, ideally from a large law firmbackground. Proven experience managing complex litigation involvingpremises liability, automobile negligence, medical malpractice,third-party property claims, and insurance defense. Excellent oraland written communication skills, with the ability to presentcomplex legal arguments clearly and effectively. Strong research,analytical, and writing skills, with a focus on drafting persuasivelegal documents. Strong negotiation skills and the ability tohandle high-stakes cases. Detail-oriented with a strategic mindsetand the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlinessimultaneously.
