Job Overview :

The ideal candidate is a proactive and highly organized professional with strong experience in family law. You will work closely with attorneys to ensure case preparation is seamless and our clients receive the best possible support throughout the legal process. You will be integral in managing case files, conducting research, drafting legal documents, and assisting with trial preparation. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their work, and consistently produces high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities :
Case Management :

Assist attorneys in all stages of case preparation, from initial consultation through trial.

Legal Research & Analysis :

Conduct in-depth legal research and analyze information to support case strategies.

Document Drafting :

Draft and prepare various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and contracts.

Client & Witness Coordination :

Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved, ensuring timely and effective collaboration.

Trial Support :

Organize exhibits, prepare trial binders, and assist in preparing attorneys for trial.

Discovery & Evidence Review :

Review and analyze documents for discovery purposes and ensure compliance with legal procedures.

File Organization & Maintenance :

Maintain organized, up-to-date case files and legal documents, ensuring accurate record-keeping.

Confidentiality :

Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive client information.

What We’re Looking For :
Experience :

A minimum of 1 years of experience as a paralegal, ideally in family law. Experience with high-net-worth cases, custody matters, and financial litigation is a plus.

Education :

Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field. Certification from a recognized paralegal program is preferred.

Legal Skills :

Strong knowledge of family law, legal terminology, procedures, and relevant state-specific rules. Experience with document management software (e.g., Clio, iManage) is highly preferred.

Research Expertise :

Proficiency in legal research tools like Westlaw or LexisNexis, with the ability to synthesize complex legal information.

Organizational Skills :

Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.

Communication :

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and outside parties.

Team-Oriented :

Ability to work independently while being an active and engaged team member who thrives in a collaborative environment.

Tech-Savvy :
