In-House Counsel and Strategic Advisor Position Available In Osceola, Florida

Job Description Job Description Key Responsibilities:

• Legal Oversight:

• Provide legal advice on all corporate activities in coordination with the Chief Executive Officer. Such advice requires a scope of specific knowledge on contracts, negotiations, corporate workouts, and settlement resolution.
• Manage litigation and dispute resolution, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers, vendors, partners, and clients to protect the company’s interests.
• Advise on legal implications of business decisions, ensuring compliance with “America First” policies and principles.

• Strategic Advisory:

• Work closely with the CEO and senior management to develop and implement business strategies that reinforce the company’s vision and America First ethos.
• Conduct risk assessments for new projects or expansions, particularly those involving cross-border activities or partnerships.
• Provide insights into industry trends, regulatory changes, and geopolitical developments that could impact the hospitality sector.
• Facilitate strategic partnerships that enhance our market position while maintaining our core values.

• Corporate Governance:

• Ensure that the company adheres to best practices in corporate governance.
• Oversee compliance programs to prevent violations of law and maintain high ethical standards.
• Prepare and present reports to the board on legal issues, risks, and strategic recommendations.

• Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and develop the legal team, promoting a culture of learning and adherence to the company’s values.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel when necessary for specialized legal matters.

• Communication:

• Serve as the primary legal spokesperson for the company in external interactions, including media, regulatory bodies, or during legal proceedings.
• Communicate complex legal issues to non-legal stakeholders in an accessible manner. Qualifications
• Education Required
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; active membership in at least one state bar.
