Job Description

Environmental Attorney – Prestigious Florida Law Firm Keystaff, Inc. Boca Raton, FL 33427 KeyStaff is actively hiring an ideal candidate to join our client’s team. Who is our client? They are a well-established, multi-service Florida-based law firm with offices in Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, and Palm Beach Gardens. They are currently seeking an experienced Environmental Attorney to join their growing team. Founded in 1960, the firm is known for its strong professional reputation, collaborative culture, and commitment to client service. Are you a driven attorney with a passion for environmental law? This is your opportunity! This full-time position requires a minimum of four years of experience in environmental law, with a focus on federal and/or state environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience advising on legal and regulatory matters involving local, regional, state, and federal environmental laws and permitting processes. Position is hybrid/Boca Raton/Ft. Lauderdale offices (would start in Boca and eventually move to the Ft. Lauderdale office) Key responsibilities include: Prior experience with regulatory agencies or local government (strongly encouraged). Background in land use and/or local government law (preferred). Expertise in legal and regulatory analysis, including permitting and compliance under Florida Statutes Chapters 373 and 403, and the federal Clean Water Act. Familiarity with proceedings before the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings.

Advanced legal analysis and drafting. Complex research and writing skills. Strong communication, strategic thinking, and organizational abilities. Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to a team environment.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor from an accredited institution. Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar (minimum 4 years required).
