Overview
Our client is hiring a detail-oriented Land Use Planner to support their expanding legal practice. This role is key to our work in comprehensive planning, zoning, subdivisions, and environmental compliance. We’re looking for someone who values collaboration and is passionate about shaping communities.

We represent public and private clients—including non-profits and developers—on land use, zoning, and permitting issues. Our team works closely with municipalities, boards, and commissions. We blend legal insight with community-focused planning.
What You’ll Do
Communicate with clients via email, phone, and in-person meetings
Analyze property data, zoning laws, and development codes
Provide written opinions on land use feasibility
Prepare and submit entitlement applications (Site Plans, Rezoning, Conditional Use, etc.)
Support attorneys at staff meetings, public hearings, and community events
Requirements
5+ years of experience in land use planning or related field
Strong public engagement and consensus-building skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Experience in team-based, multidisciplinary projects
Comfortable working with public officials, staff, and communities
Strong organizational and project management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and PowerPoint
Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
