Position Overview:
We are a high volume, results oreinted personal injury law firm and we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our intake department as a Claim Opener. The Claim Opener plays a critical role in our firm by efficiently and accurately processing new client claims and ensuring that all necessary information is collected to initiate the legal process.
Responsibilities:
Client Interaction:
Communicate with potential clients via phone, email about their personal injury cases.
Data Entry:
Accurately enter client information into the case management system, ensuring all details are recorded with precision and completeness.
Documentation:
Prepare and organize all necessary documentation related to new client claims, including intake forms, medical records, accident reports, and insurance information.
Case Screening:
Conduct initial assessments of potential cases to determine their viability and ensure they meet the firm’s criteria for representation.
Collaboration:
Work closely with attorneys and other members of the intake department to facilitate the smooth transition of new cases into the firm’s caseload. Adherence to

Follow established procedures and protocols for claim intake and ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred. Previous experience in a fast-paced office environment, preferably in a legal setting. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a high-volume setting. Proficiency in data entry and computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.
