The Associate will assist in the firm’s representation of lenders and servicers in real estate litigation cases, creditor bankruptcy matters, evictions and REO closings throughout the state of Florida. The successful candidate must possess a Florida Bar License and have minimum 2-5 years of mortgage foreclosure experience. The Foreclosure Associate will be responsible for working uncontested cases including reviewing complaints, preparing motions for default, motions for summary judgment, discovery, final judgment hearings and trials. Experience in foreclosure sales and evictions as well as creditor bankruptcy and real estate closings is a plus. This is a full time position and allows for a hybrid work schedule with a minimum of two full days in the firms Boca Raton, FL office.
Qualifications:
Must have a valid Florida Bar license in good standing Must be an experienced real estate attorney with a minimum of 2-5 years of mortgage foreclosure experience Experience in foreclosure sales and evictions as well as creditor bankruptcy and real estate closings is a plus. Must have excellent attention to detail, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
