Are you a dedicated and highly motivated Paralegal looking to make a significant impact in a thriving family law practice? We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team in Boca Raton, FL. This is a full-time, in-office position offering a guaranteed 40-hour workweek, with opportunities for overtime and performance-based bonuses. You’ll play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys through all stages of family law cases. We’re looking for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional support to both our legal team and our clients. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Case Preparation & Filing:
Draft and eFile legal documents, gather financial information, and prepare discovery lists.
Document Management:
Organize and maintain physical and electronic files, including data entry into Family Law Software and managing email correspondence.
Client Communication:
Keep clients informed on all court filings.
Scheduling & Trial Prep:
Schedule calls, depositions, hearings, and mediations; assist with exhibit preparation and trial readiness.
Administrative Support:
Manage case deadlines, answer phones, handle correspondence, and maintain calendars.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Tech Proficiency:
Strong skills in Microsoft Windows, Adobe, and Excel. Ability to learn and use legal software (billing, discovery, eFiling portals).
Core Skills:
Minimum 40 WPM typing speed, excellent written and verbal communication, and strong organizational skills.
Work Ethic:
Proactive “go-getter” with a self-starting attitude, coachable, and a collaborative team player.
Experience:
Prior experience scheduling legal appointments preferred.
