Position Overview:
As a Pre-Suit Attorney at our firm, you will play a critical role in the firm’s litigation process, managing cases before they are filed in court. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled attorney who is passionate about client relations, strategic case development, and building a successful path for litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
Review case files and client information to assess the merits of potential claims and determine pre-suit strategies. Communicate directly with clients to gather information, clarify details, and manage expectations. Draft and send demand letters, settlement proposals, and other pre-suit documents. Engage in pre-suit negotiations with opposing counsel, insurance companies, and other relevant parties. Coordinate with experts, investigators, and other professionals to strengthen the case. Analyze case details, conduct legal research, and develop appropriate pre-suit strategies. Maintain accurate records of case progress, client interactions, and settlement efforts. Ensure compliance with all relevant statutes of limitations and other legal requirements. Provide guidance to clients on potential outcomes and next steps in the pre-suit process.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in Florida. At least 4 years of experience in personal injury or pre-suit litigation. Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to handle a high caseload while maintaining attention to detail and quality. Exceptional research and analytical skills.
