Overview:

Our esteemed law firm is actively seeking a Probate Administration Attorney to enhance our growing legal team. This pivotal role is suited for a professional with an understanding of probate law and experience handling probate administration cases within Florida. The successful candidate will be a leader capable of managing both case files and team members, ensuring diligent legal service and client satisfaction. This is a client-facing role.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and maintain comprehensive probate files from initiation to closure. Draft and file various probate pleadings and legal documents with the court. Provide guidance and gather essential information from clients to prepare complete pleadings. Work with a team of paralegals to ensure all cases are managed while providing excellent Customer Service. File documents via the Florida e-filing portal and manage online docketing effectively. Regularly update clients on case progress and milestones. Enter detailed billable hours and case expenses into the firm’s billing software. Supervise and delegate tasks to paralegals and legal assistants, ensuring efficient workflow.

Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school. Active membership and good standing with The Florida Bar. Probate administration experience as an attorney in Florida. Will consider newly licensed attorneys with a passion for probate law. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Adobe PDF, and legal management software. Thorough familiarity with probate courts and judicial personnel across all Florida counties. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain strict attention to detail.

Work Environment:

This position is office-based and cannot be performed remotely.
