Full Job Description Key Responsibilities:
– Litigate general liability and third-party insurance defense matters across Florida Draft and argue motions in state and federal court Take and defend depositions Attend court hearings, mediations, and trials Develop case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys and clients Manage discovery and case documentation with precision and timeliness Maintain monthly billable hour goals (150 minimum / 170 target)
Qualifications:
– Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Admitted to the Florida Bar 2-6 years of relevant litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense Strong understanding of Florida civil procedure and liability law Demonstrated courtroom and deposition experience Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team Strong work ethic and professional demeanor
