GENERAL FUNCTION

.Partner with the Senior Trust Officers and Trust Officers in everyaspect of servicing their client base to ensure greater clientsatisfaction, client retention and growth, and compliance with allpolicies and procedures governing fiduciaryrelationships.

Primaryresponsibility for the fiduciary team”s interface with the trustaccounting system, the IA Workflow System, the Unique Assets Teamand all trust operations functions

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

.Client Service Partner with a Trust Officer to service his/herclients Frequent direct communication with clients Support the Trust Officer to administer multigenerationaltrusts, often with discretionary income and principal paymentsdistributed among multiple family members, while managing financialrisk Partner with the Trust Officer to retain client base by workingwith the client service team and partnering with internal andexternal service providers to optimize effectiveness and efficiencyin achieving the highest client service standards Partner with the Trust Officer to resolve clientissues Ensure a smooth transition as the client moves among servicemodels .Account Administration Assist with the completion of annual administrative accountreviews Provide necessary maintenance/interface for trust accountingsystem Review and ensure the quality of the daily account activity inthe IA Workflow System Ensure compliance and proper documentation requirements are met,consistent with internal fiduciary policies and proceduresregarding business acceptance, discretionary actions, and all otherbank policies, procedures and guidelines Work closely with the Trust Officer and Trust Tax Accountants toensure proper tax reporting Work with IASC to open and close accounts; process additions toand distributions from accounts Frequent interaction with various operations teams within theBank .Sales Partner with the Trust Officer on client salescalls Prepare marketing proposals and materials Participate in the Life360 Process to identify and provideappropriate products, services, and cross-sellingopportunities Demonstrate client contact and relationship managementskills Utilize and ensure prospect/client information is appropriatelyentered, updated, and managed in the CRM trackingsystem .Other Demonstrate a sense of urgency for client service and completionof projects/tasks Demonstrate sound decision-making skills, including balancingbusiness risk to Fifth Third Bank with clientinterests Work with multiple managers and balance competingpriorities Champion the Bancorp Vision and Core Values through personalactions Recommend enhancements to policies and procedures Develop a working knowledge of current trends and changes in theindustry with regard to fiduciary matters (e.g. estate planning,probate, estate, gift and income tax planning, guardianships,special needs trusts, state-specific law) .
