Salary:

$110,000 – $130,000 per year A bit about us: Our client isseeking a litigation associate with 3-5 years of experience to jointheir team in Sarasota, providing litigation support throughoutFlorida. The role involves managing a diverse and engaging caseloadin complex litigation from start to finish. Ideal candidates haveexperience in construction, financial services defense, or realproperty litigation, as well as strong written and oral advocacyskills. Candidates should be comfortable drafting pleadings,motions, discovery, handling depositions and dispositive motions.

Job Details As aLitigation Associate, your responsibilities will include: 1.Managing all aspects of complex litigation cases from inceptionthrough to resolution. 2. Drafting pleadings, motion papers, andappellate briefs, and arguing motions in both state and federalcourts. 3. Conducting and managing discovery, including taking anddefending depositions. 4. Representing clients in mediations,arbitrations, and trials. 5. Collaborating with partners,associates, and clients to develop litigation strategies. 6.Conducting legal research and analysis to advise clients onpotential litigation risks and outcomes. 7. Maintaining up-to-dateknowledge of the construction industry, including changes in lawsand regulations. 8. Providing exceptional client service andmaintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications:

1. A JurisDoctorate degree from an accredited law school. 2. Must be a memberin good standing of any state bar. 3. A minimum of 3-5 years ofexperience in commercial/complex litigation. 4. Strong experiencein all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions,motion practice, and trial. 5. Excellent legal research,analytical, and writing skills. 6. Strong negotiation skills andthe ability to resolve disputes efficiently. 7. Exceptional clientservice skills with the ability to interact with clients in aprofessional manner. 8. The ability to work independently as wellas collaboratively in a team environment.
