Associate Attorney Schwam-Wilcox & Associates Altamonte Springs, FL 32714 Job Summary Are you a passionate Family Law Attorney ready to make a meaningful impact? We are a small but busy law firm, and we’re looking for an Associate Attorney to join our team. With a strong focus on providing excellent client service, we are committed to supporting each other while working on diverse and challenging cases throughout Florida.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 2 years of experience in Family Law, specifically with discovery, trials, and hearings. Experience with dependency matters is a plus. Strong communication skills are vital, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) applicants are highly encouraged to apply to assist with our growing Spanish-speaking client base.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice and representation for family law clients, including collaborative cases, litigation, and mediation. Conduct legal research, draft pleadings and motions, and prepare trial documents. Attend hearings, mediation, and trials both virtually and in person. Negotiate settlements and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved. Meet with potential and retained clients to provide comprehensive legal counsel.
