Associate Attorney, Litigation Chaban Law Group, P.A. Apopka, FL 32703 Job Summary We are a boutique law firm seeking a talented and motivated Associate Attorney to join our close-knit team. We are looking for a self-starter who can manage their workload with minimal oversight and is eager to contribute to the growth of our firm. While this role requires mostly in-person hours, we will offer flexibility with remote workdays to accommodate the needs of the right candidate. Duties Conduct initial consultations and ongoing discussions. Move the case from start to finish by working with paralegals and clients to gather essential evidence. Conduct legal research to support motions, petitions, evidence requests and other documentation as necessary specific to the case. Oversee paralegals’ caseloads and ensure deadlines are met. Advise clients in preparation for depositions, mediations, and/or court appearances, as needed by the individual case. Keeping case files current by maintaining accurate notes in case management software. Experience Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar association (Florida) is required. Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: family law, immigration law, criminal law. Must be able to speak both Spanish and English proficiently. Proficiency in legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis or WestLaw is highly desirable. Strong litigation skills with a proven track record of successful case outcomes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective client representation. Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
