Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Family Law Paralegal at The Elkins Law Firm, P.L. located in Altamonte Springs, FL. The Paralegal will be responsible for tasks such as drafting/document preparation, maintaining the firm’s calendar, legal research, communication with clients, document review, billing, filing, and assisting the attorney in case preparation. Qualifications Family Law knowledge and at least 2 years of experience is a MUST Experience in legal document preparation and review Must be able to run child support guidelines Must be able to prepare pretrial statements, prepare attorney for trial, mark exhibits, and perform all necessary document drafting for a dissolution of marriage / paternity actions. Strong communication skills Research skills Experience in document review Paralegal certification is a plus Must be knowledgeable with the e-portal Must be able to become a notary Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Principals only.
