• Court Coverage
• Appear at traffic‑court arraignments, pre‑trial conferences, bench or jury trials, DMV administrative hearings, and plea/sentencing proceedings on behalf of retaining counsel.
• Drafting
• Prepare motions to dismiss or suppress, discovery requests & responses, traffic‑infraction affidavits, stipulated orders, and settlement agreements.
• Research
• Deliver concise legal memoranda on statutory defenses (e.g., speed‑measuring device challenges), case assessments, and advisory opinions on license suspension or reinstatement issues.
• Co‑Counsel
• Negotiate with prosecutors, liaise with clients, law‑enforcement officers, and court personnel to advance case objectives and secure favorable outcomes. Required Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) and active, good‑standing license with the Florida State Bar.
• 3+ years of dedicated traffic‑law or criminal‑traffic experience, including appearances in county or municipal traffic courts and/or DMV hearings.
• Proven ability to manage multiple matters, meet strict deadlines, and work autonomously with minimal oversight.
