This role is ideal for someone with strong marketing or outreach experience , especially in professional services, legal, or healthcare-related fields. The right candidate will be skilled at building relationships, comfortable presenting to professionals, and eager to educate attorneys, financial advisors, discharge planners, and nursing home staff about how our trust services support families with Medicaid planning and asset protection . A background in elder law, estate planning, or healthcare is helpful—but not required. If you enjoy being out in the field, meeting people, and making a difference in the lives of aging individuals and their families, we’d love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Act as the face of SCS Pooled Trust in assigned territories, introducing our services to attorneys, elder law firms, estate planners, and asset management professionals. Conduct in-person outreach, regularly visiting law offices, care facilities, hospitals, and professional groups to build new referral relationships. Provide clear, concise explanations of our services to legal professionals and other referral partners; help them understand how we can collaborate on Medicaid eligibility and eldercare transitions. Attend networking events, CLEs, bar association meetings, senior service expos, and other industry events to represent SCS Pooled Trust and build brand awareness. Identify and nurture new business opportunities, with a strong focus on education-based selling Partner with internal SCS Pooled Trust departments to tailor local messaging and ensure alignment across business units Track outreach efforts, maintain referral logs, and report back on regional trends, needs, and challenges to help shape company strategy Be flexible, creative, and responsive to each territory’s unique professional landscape Qualifications Legal background preferred – former paralegal, law firm business development staff, or similar experience strongly desired At least 2-5 years of experience in marketing, business development, or client outreach—ideally within the legal, financial, or eldercare industries. Strong understanding of Medicaid planning, estate planning, or asset protection (or a quick learner with legal curiosity). Highly organized, resourceful, and independent—comfortable managing your own schedule and travel. Solid budgeting skills to manage financial resources effectively. Strong analytical capabilities to interpret data and make informed decisions. Willing and able to travel frequently within Florida and surrounding areas. Based in Florida.
