The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various areas of law, including Real Estate, Business, Personal Injury Law, and Criminal Law. This role requires excellent research and negotiation skills, as well as proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis. The Associate Attorney will work closely with clients to provide legal advice, represent them in litigation, and ensure their rights are protected throughout the legal process. The Assoicate will travel back and forth between our Savannah and Hinesville office as needed. Responsibilities Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and contracts. Represent clients in court proceedings and during negotiations. Provide sound legal advice on matters related to Real Estate, Business, Personal Injury Law, and Criminal Law. Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases to develop effective strategies. Maintain accurate records of case files and client communications. Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas. Assist with administrative tasks related to legal operations as needed. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the Georgia Bar. Experience or strong knowledge in Real Estate, Business, Personal Injury Law, or Criminal Law is preferred but not required. Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual caseloads. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
