Our team of experienced legal professionals provides compassionate, thoughtful guidance to individuals and families during some of life’s most complex transitions. We are expanding to meet growing client demand and are seeking a skilled, values-driven Senior Probate Attorney to lead this critical practice area. Position Overview This role is ideal for a seasoned attorney who is ready to step into a leadership position and make a meaningful impact. As our Senior Probate Attorney, you will manage a diverse caseload involving contested and uncontested wills, estate disputes, guardianships, and complex probate matters. You will also collaborate with clients to design strategic estate plans and provide mentorship to junior legal staff. Our ideal candidate brings a problem-solving mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to client service rooted in empathy, clarity, and integrity. Key Responsibilities Lead probate litigation and non-litigated cases from initial consultation through resolution Handle estate administration, contested wills, and guardianship proceedings Review legal documents related to probate, trusts, and estate planning Provide high-level legal counsel and representation to a diverse client base Collaborate with internal team members and external partners to ensure excellence in case management Mentor and supervise support staff as needed Required Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Licensed to practice in Georgia and in good standing with the State Bar Minimum 5 years of experience practicing probate law in Georgia Minimum 3 years of experience in estate planning Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism, discretion, and compassion Strong writing, negotiation, and courtroom skills Preferred Attributes Deep understanding of Georgia probate code and court procedures Experience working with or in a probate court Excellent time management and organizational skills Tech-savvy and comfortable with modern legal tools and cloud-based systems Calm, collaborative, and solutions-oriented in high-pressure situations Why Join Us?
