Our client seeks a skilled Commercial Contracts Attorney to join their legal team. The ideal candidate will draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and fostering strong business relationships.

Responsibilities:

Draft, analyze, negotiate, and revise a variety of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, licensing agreements, service agreements, confidentiality agreements, and purchase orders. Provide expert legal guidance to cross-functional teams, including finance, procurement, and operations, on contractual obligations. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies governing contracts. Identify risk and propose strategies to mitigate legal and business risks associated with commercial transactions. Support the development of contract templates, playbooks, and guidance materials to improve legal efficiency. Stay current on legal trends and regulations related to commercial transactions, both domestically and internationally. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active state bar membership (required). 3+ years of experience handling commercial contracts (preferably in-house or at a firm with transactional focus). Strong understanding of contract law, corporate governance, and industry-specific regulations. Excellent legal writing, negotiation, and communication skills. Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with privacy, data security, or intellectual property law is a plus.
