Eviction Process Management

Decatur, GA 30033 Located in south Buckhead, we are a fast-growing technology -infused service company serving property owners, investors, and managers across the US. Our operating platform assists customers with compliance across their property portfolios. We provide our customers with detailed visibility into their national portfolio, assuring that they maintain real time oversight of their nonperforming properties. We have an immediate need for a legal case manager/ supporting customers, property owners and their landlord-tenant attorneys, who enjoy working on a focused team that genuinely values one another’s contributions. Among this position’s responsibilities will be:

  • Preparation and/or review of customer filings to ensure cases are complete and in compliance with jurisdictional and attorney requirements.
  • Ensure the issues of the case are clearly communicated and documented to support its submission by the attorney without delay.
  • Communicate with the customer and their attorney when additional documentation or questions are required.
  • Ensure customer cases progress timely through the jurisdiction very timeline by addressing matters identified within exceptions reports and resolving identified issues.
  • Coordinate with customers’ requirements to clear case related matters arising downstream based on the unit’s occupancy status and any additional required paperwork.
  • Ensure timely and clearly written correspondence with customers, courthouses, law enforcement, vendors, and attorney firms when required.
  • Maintain a high degree of knowledge and awareness of cases related nuances within assigned jurisdictions by researching local statutes, articles, and communications with attorney firms.
Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Understanding of legal language and principles, research methods, court pleadings and process, and other related matters.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Self-starter with the ability to effectively and simultaneously manage multiple priorities.

  • Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Associate’s degree in paralegal studies or related field required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience required; working with property owners, managers, real estate lawyers and/or investors is a plus.
