2233399 Ascendo Resources is partnering with a long-standing, reputable law firm client in Atlanta, GA. Our client is seeking to hire a motivated and skilled Litigation Associate with at least two years of experience to their expanding team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, research, and writing abilities, demonstrate self-motivation, and excel in a collaborative, team-driven environment. This particular opening will support the firms Insurance Defense Litigation practice group. This role offers the chance to handle a diverse range of cases, work closely with senior attorneys, and gain hands-on experience across all phases of litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda. Manage all aspects of discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests. Take and defend depositions of witnesses, parties, and experts. Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and trials. Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and development. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic performance. Active member in good standing with the Georgia Bar. At least 2 years of litigation experience, including taking and defending depositions. Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills. High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
