Position Overview:

The Civil Litigation Associate will work closely with seniorattorneys on a variety of complex litigation matters. The firmhandles a wide range of cases, including commercial businessdisputes, insurance defense, employment law, personal injurydefense, municipal and government litigation, construction, andreal estate disputes. The role offers significant opportunities forprofessional development and client interaction.

KeyResponsibilities:

Manage and assist in the litigation of casesacross several practice areas including:

Commercial & BusinessLitigation:

Contract disputes, shareholder disputes, and fraudclaims.

Insurance Defense & Coverage:

Coverage disputes andliability claims.

Employment Litigation:

Defending employers indiscrimination, harassment, and wage disputes.

Personal InjuryDefense:

Defense of negligence, premises liability, andprofessional liability claims.

Municipal & Government Litigation:

Representing local governments and public officials in civildisputes.

Construction Litigation:

Handling contract and defectdisputes.

Real Estate & Land Use Litigation:

Property disputes,zoning challenges, and eminent domain matters. Draft and filemotions, briefs, and discovery materials. Conduct thorough legalresearch and prepare reports for senior counsel and clients.

Represent clients in court appearances and depositions. Assist withtrial preparation, including discovery and case strategy. Managedocument filing and adherence to strict timelines using systemslike iManage.

Required Qualifications:

2-6 years of civillitigation experience, federal experience is preferred. In goodstandings with the State Bar. J.D. from an accredited law school.

Strong written and oral communication skills. Excellentorganizational and time management abilities. A proactive,client-focused mindset with a commitment to high-quality legalservice. Experience with iManage document management system ande-filing is a plus. Active Notary license is preferred.
