Job Summary:

We are a well established personal injury law firm seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney with 0-3 years of experience to join our growing litigation team. The position will focus on personal injury, wrongful death and premises liability cases. This role requires excellent legal research and writing skills, as well as the ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients. The Associate Attorney will work closely with senior attorneys to provide high-quality legal services and support.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough legal research and draft memoranda. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses and contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws. Make court appearances and assist in trial preparation. Try cases under supervision or independently as appropriate. Communicate effectively with clients, court personnel and opposing counsel. Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff. Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients. Maintain organized case files and manage deadlines effectively.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active member in good standing with the Georgia Bar Association. Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw. Strong writing, analytical and oral advocacy skills. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple cases simultaneously. Highly organized and attentive to detail. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating independence in handling tasks. Self-starter with a strong work ethic and minimal need for supervision.
