The successful candidate will engage in all stages of litigation, from pre-suit investigations to trial and appeals, as part of a skilled team of attorneys. The firm is seeking a litigation associate based in Atlanta with 3-5 years of defense experience. The associate will focus on premises liability, transportation, and product liability cases. Key responsibilities for the position include: Handling a broad range of general/premises liability, product liability, and transportation cases; Investigating cases, developing and implementing defense strategies, conducting written discovery and depositions, engaging in motion practice, managing ADR processes, and preparing for trial and appeal; Preparing for trial, including strategy discussions, reviewing discovery and records, interviewing clients, and preparing witnesses; Conducting legal research and research on people, businesses, and worksites.

The ideal candidate will possess:

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; Excellent legal research abilities; A client-focused approach; Superior writing skills; The ability to respond strategically in fast-paced situations; Strong verbal and written communication skills; A collaborative team spirit, with the ability to work independently; Experience in a defense law firm, including deposition experience; An active Georgia Bar license.
