Attorney/Lawyer Position Available In Fulton, Georgia

Description We are looking for a dedicated Attorney/Lawyer to join our team on a contract basis in Atlanta, Georgia. This position offers the opportunity to engage in diverse areas of law, including civil litigation, legal research, and drafting legal documents. Whether you are a new attorney or have years of experience, we are open to candidates with a background in civil law.

Responsibilities:

• Handle a variety of legal cases, including tax appeals, general litigation, and civil matters.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and decision-making processes.
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
• Represent clients in court and administrative hearings, advocating for their best interests.
• Manage cases related to public works, asset management, and premises liability.
• Provide legal guidance on nuisance claims, car accidents, and other civil disputes.
• Collaborate with team members to develop effective strategies for resolving complex legal issues.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in the execution of legal duties.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all cases handled.
• Continuously stay informed on changes in laws and legal practices relevant to assigned cases. Requirements
• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia.
• Experience in civil litigation or a related legal field is preferred.
• Strong skills in legal research and drafting legal documents.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and advocacy abilities.
• Knowledge of tax law and public works-related legal matters is a plus.
• Willingness to work on a contract basis and adapt to a dynamic legal environment.
