This is a unique opportunity for a high-performing legal executive to join a top-tier practice advising private equity and venture capital clients, including those operating in regulated industries, government contracts, and defense-related sectors. Key Responsibilities Advise on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures, and complex structuring strategies. Serve as lead counsel on high-value transactions across industries including government contracting, technology, and regulated markets. Ensure compliance with corporate governance, SEC regulations, and federal contracting guidelines where applicable. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across offices to deliver strategic legal and business solutions. Maintain and expand strong client relationships and actively contribute to firm growth initiatives. Ideal Candidate JD from an accredited, top-tier law school. 10-15+ years of substantive legal experience in corporate transactions, with a focus on M&A and private equity. Active bar license in any U.S. jurisdiction listed below. U.S. Citizenship required due to work on sensitive and regulated matters; prior experience in defense, government contracts, or national security sectors is highly valued. Demonstrated ability to originate business, with a portable book of business required. Excellent leadership, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
