This is an excellent opportunity for cybersecurity attorneys who are eager to advance their careers and take on significant, substantive responsibilities in defending complex cybersecurity-related cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with defense of privacy lawsuits and data breach class actions filed in state and federal courts nationwide
Analysis of state, federal, and international privacy laws
Responding to regulatory investigations arising out of a data breach
Defending privacy lawsuits
Preparing and responding to written discovery, taking and defending depositions, and working with expert witnesses Qualifications 2+ years of complex litigation experience in State and Federal Courts
JD from an accredited Law School is required
Class Action litigation experience a plus
Cybersecurity and Data Privacy background a plus
Excellent research and writing skills, including drafting briefs and dispositive motions
Excellent oral communication skills
Experience managing large-scale E-Discovery
Experience defending in data breach, BIPA, VPPA class actions preferred but not required
Knowledge of State and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure
Highly organized and able to meet deadlines in multiple cases
