Atlanta Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage client’s settlement packets with documents and checks to disburse promptly and accurately
• Schedule and disburse client’s cases and maintain detailed records of all disbursements, ensuring accuracy and transparency
• Work closely with attorneys, finance teams, third-party vendors, and clients
• Address client inquires related to payments, settlements, and account balances
• Answer emails/calls from clients to give updates and handle any discrepancies
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in the disbursement process
• Ensure compliance with state bar rules and legal trust accounting regulations Job qualifications:
• Fluent in both English and Spanish
• Experience in Personal Injury Law (legal accounting, banking, and financial disbursements) preferred
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
• High attention to detail and accuracy and strong organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with attorneys, client’s, providers and financial institutions
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Ability to be cross trained and know all aspects of the disbursement department duties and responsibilities
• Notary preferred
