Role:

We are a well-established law firm based in Atlanta, originally focused on criminal defense, and we are expanding our family law division. We are seeking an experienced Divorce Attorney to join our team in an Of Counsel capacity. The ideal candidate is a licensed Georgia attorney with a solid track record handling both contested and uncontested divorce cases, and who can manage their own caseload while contributing to the growth of the family law practice.

Responsibilities:

Handle contested and uncontested divorce cases from intake through resolution Provide sound legal advice and representation to clients Draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and other legal documents Attend court hearings, mediations, and depositions Maintain timely communication with clients and internal team Collaborate with our firm on strategic case development and marketing efforts

Qualifications:

Licensed and in good standing with the Georgia State Bar Minimum 3 years of family law/divorce experience Trial experience preferred but not required Strong legal writing, communication, and negotiation skills Self-motivated with ability to work independently and manage multiple cases Comfortable working Of Counsel with flexible caseload expectations

What We Offer:

Flexible work arrangements (in-office, remote, or hybrid) Pay is earned on a per case basis. If you are able to close out 5 cases or 10+ cases per month, you are paid the agreed upon fee per case by the 2nd of the following month. (barring holidays, weekends) Administrative and paralegal support Case referrals and marketing support Competitive compensation structure based on experience and caseload
