In House Counsel Attorney SaaS Commercial Position Available In Fulton, Georgia

Description We are looking for an experienced SaaS In House Counsel to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves providing strategic legal advice and support for SaaS technology products and services, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial contracts, negotiations, and data privacy, along with the ability to guide cross-functional teams effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary legal advisor for the organization’s SaaS products and services, offering practical and commercially-focused solutions.
• Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including Terms & Conditions, MSAs, SaaS agreements, and RFPs.
• Manage data protection negotiations, including reviewing and advising on data processing agreements to support compliance projects.
• Ensure adherence to local, national, and international laws, including state and federal regulations.
• Handle potential litigation matters, such as intellectual property disputes, bankruptcy issues, and credit or collection cases.
• Provide legal training and guidance to team members, including entry-level legal staff, to enhance their growth and development.
• Collaborate on ad hoc projects and initiatives to support business objectives as needed. Requirements
• 3-4+ years of experience in business and commercial law, with a focus on SaaS products.
• Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements.
• Strong knowledge of corporate, contract, and data privacy laws.
• Experience with B2B SaaS and technology products.
• Ability to navigate complex legal issues and provide solutions that balance risk with business goals.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership in a relevant jurisdiction.
