The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various areas of law, including personal injury, workers’ compensation, and immigration law. This role involves representing clients in legal proceedings, conducting thorough research, and drafting legal documents. The Litigation Attorney will work collaboratively with other attorneys and support staff to provide exceptional legal services. Duties Represent clients in litigation matters, including trials and hearings. Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as Westlaw. Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs. Develop case strategies and prepare for court appearances. Communicate effectively with clients to keep them informed about their cases. Collaborate with colleagues on complex legal issues and case management. Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and changes in legislation affecting clients. Provide guidance on estate planning and compliance with tribal law regulations as needed. Experience Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar association. Experience in a law office setting is preferred. Knowledge of personal injury law, workers’ compensation law, estate planning, immigration law, and tribal law regulations is highly desirable. Strong research skills with proficiency in legal drafting and documentation. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple cases effectively while meeting deadlines.
