The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in personal injury litigation, including depositions, trial experience, and brief writing. Our practice includes trial litigation in Georgia and other states’ trial courts, federal trial courts, and appellate litigation in federal and state courts. This role requires excellent legal drafting skills, the ability to conduct thorough research using tools such as Westlaw and other resources, and a commitment to providing exceptional legal services to our clients. Responsibilities Draft legal documents, including briefs, motions, and including appellate pleadings. Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and strategy development. Conduct depositions and assist at trial, motions hearings, and appellate work. Travel overnight may be involved. Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and provide support in litigation matters. Communicate effectively with clients regarding their legal matters and provide updates on case progress. Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas. Work well with existing staff including paralegals. Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Georgia Bar admission Two to five years experience. Proficiency in legal research tools including Westlaw. Strong writing skills with a focus on legal drafting and documentation. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. Strong computer skills.
