Criminal Defense Attorney Crawford and Boyle, LLC Lawrenceville, GA 30046 Our busy law firm is growing, and we are looking for talent that works hard to represent clients well. The prime candidate will work seamlessly with both senior partners as well as administrative staff in an effort to effectively serve clients. Compensation:
$100,000 – $175,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedings Work closely with and provide leadership to administrative staff concerning client billing, client meetings and invoicing, as well as finalizing client projects
Qualifications:
Work independently while handling a heavy caseload Graduation from law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and experience in representing clients for at least 2 years Candidates must currently be a member of their local bar association – active member preferred Public speaking, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role Prior experience working in a law firm for a minimum of 1-2 years required Regular court appearances in multiple counties, primarily Gwinnett, Walton, Newton, Barrow, Jackson, Athens-Clarke, Rockdale, and the municipalities they contain. Attention to detail, the devil is in the details, and usually so is the client’s defense. Familiarity with CLIO, Odyssey, Peachcourt, and Trello is a plus, but not required.
