Our esteemed law firm is seeking a talented,experienced, and dedicated Associate Attorney specializing in FirstParty Property claims. This is a remote position, offering theflexibility to work from home while also providing opportunitiesfor in-person collaboration and court appearances. The idealcandidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience in the legalindustry, with a strong focus on litigation and 1st party propertycases. This role requires a dynamic professional who is ready tohandle a diverse caseload and contribute to our team’s ongoingsuccess.
Responsibilities:
Handle a wide variety of insurancecases, primarily first-party property cases. Conduct legal researchand analysis to prepare and draft legal documents such aspleadings, briefs, motions, and discovery. Represent clients inpre-trial proceedings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, andhearings. Develop and implement defense strategies, negotiatesettlements, and make recommendations for case resolution. Maintainup-to-date knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures,precedents, and government regulations. Communicate effectivelywith clients, opposing counsel, judges, and team members. Manageand prioritize multiple cases and assignments in a timely andefficient manner. Participate in business development activitiessuch as networking, client consultations, and seminars to expandclient base and enhance firm reputation.
Qualifications:
JurisDoctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Currentlicense to practice law in the state of Georgia A minimum of 6years of experience in litigation, with a focus on first-partyproperty insurance claims. Proven track record of successfullyrepresenting clients in insurance cases. Exceptional legalresearch, writing, and negotiation skills. Proficient in legalresearch platforms and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage ahigh-volume caseload and work independently. Excellentinterpersonal and communication skills.
