The Fulcher Hagler LLP law firm in Augusta, Georgia seeks an associate attorney for its transactional practice team (business, tax, and estates). Full-time professional legal experience is preferred but not required. This associate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of matters in the areas of estate planning, estate administration/probate, tax, business and corporate/nonprofit law, real estate transactions, and contracts, and to support related litigation matters. Primary Expectations :
The associate will work with the Firm’s partners and staff to provide high-quality legal services for a diverse portfolio of clients, including individuals, small and closely held businesses, nonprofit entities, government and quasi-government agencies, and larger corporate clients. The associate will conduct legal and tax research and will be expected to think independently and creatively to find valuable solutions for clients. The associate will be expected to prepare well-written, well-organized memoranda, a wide variety of legal documents, and correspondence for attorneys and clients. The associate will be expected to meet and communicate effectively with clients. The associate will have opportunities to, and will be encouraged to, assist with business development and marketing for the Firm.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills :
