CENTRAL STAFF ATTORNEY POSITION
The Louisiana Second Circuit Court of Appeal seeks a staff attorney for Central Staff. Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited law school and possess legal skills sufficient to adequately analyze legal issues and communicate recommendations for the resolution of those issues to the Judges of the Court, under the supervision of the Central Staff Director. The work performed by the staff attorney will advance writing and research skills. The job offers experience in a wide variety of both civil and criminal matters as well as a unique opportunity for expertise in supervisory and appellate jurisdiction. The Second Circuit Court of Appeal offers generous annual/sick leave, regular holidays and excellent benefits (retirement, health insurance for employees/families, dental insurance for employees/families, vision insurance for employees, and free parking). Employment in this position may qualify you for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. Salary is commensurate with education, experience and qualifications.
