INSURANCE DEFENSE ATTORNEY
Baton Rouge – LA
Seeking an Associate Attorney in Baton Rouge with minimum 7 years’ Insurance Defense experience for a full-service law firm known for providing high quality litigation in Louisiana. A willingness and desire to learn and be mentored, having attention-to-detail, empathy and passion for helping the injured, and guiding clients through the case process are all great qualities for this role. The ideal candidate will be open to multiple practice areas and have the ability to handle a variety of defense work. This position has opportunities into a succession plan and partnership track for the right invidividual.
Areas of practice include:
real estate, government contracts, construction, commercial transactions, insurance, eminent domain, employment, products liability.
Duties and responsibilities:
Draft discovery, requests, responses, legal research
Prepare and argue motions and opposition to motions
Defending depositions
Strong written and verbal communication
