The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various areas of law, but mainly family law. This role involves engaging in legal research, drafting documents, and representing clients in court proceedings. The Associate Attorney will work collaboratively within our law office to provide exceptional legal services and support to our clients. Duties Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw and other resources to support case preparation. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, affidavits, etc. Represent clients in court proceedings and during negotiations, effectively litigating cases as necessary. Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and provide assistance in case strategy development. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in laws and regulations relevant to family law and other practice areas. Communicate effectively with clients to explain legal processes and provide updates on case progress. Assist in the management of case files and documentation within the law office. Requirements Law degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar and active license to practice law. Strong skills in legal drafting and research methodologies.
