Weare seeking an Immigration Attorney to join our team. The idealcandidate will have the passion and commitment to champion therights of individuals seeking immigration assistance. This roleinvolves providing legal counsel to a diverse client base, with aprimary focus on immigration law. The candidate will be responsiblefor managing a high-volume caseload, preparing immigrationapplications, and representing clients in immigration courtproceedings. This is a fantastic opportunity for an immigrationattorney to make a significant impact in the lives of those seekingto navigate the complex immigration process.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive legal counsel to clients regarding theirimmigration status, rights, and options. Manage a high-volumecaseload efficiently and effectively, ensuring all deadlines aremet. Prepare and submit immigration applications, including but notlimited to, family-based petitions, asylum applications, waivers,removal defense, and appeals. Represent clients in immigrationcourt proceedings, administrative appeals, and interviews beforethe U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Conduct thoroughlegal research to support client cases and stay abreast of changesin immigration law and policy. Develop and maintain strongrelationships with clients through regular communication andexcellent customer service. Collaborate with legal team members tostrategize the best course of action for clients.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. License to practicelaw in the state and good standing with the state bar association.
A minimum of 1 to 5 years of experience as an Associate Attorney ina law firm setting, with a focus on immigration law and removaldefense Proven track record of representing clients in a variety ofimmigration matters. Exceptional knowledge of immigration law andpolicy, and the ability to apply this knowledge to client cases.
Strong legal research, writing, and negotiation skills. Ability tomanage a high-volume caseload with strict deadlines. Excellentinterpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients,staff, and court officials. Bilingual or multilingual skills arehighly desirable, but not required. A commitment to the rights andwelfare of immigrants.
