Attorney Position Available In Plymouth, Massachusetts

Description We are looking for a skilled Attorney to join our team in Norwell, Massachusetts, on a long-term contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of litigation cases, with a focus on employment law and related matters. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in civil litigation and a strong understanding of employment policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage a portfolio of litigation cases, including individual lawsuits and class actions.
• Draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents to support ongoing cases.
• Handle employment law matters, such as non-compete enforcement, union petitions, and grievances.
• Provide guidance on employment policies and assist with compliance-related matters.
• Supervise less experienced attorneys in preparing legal demand letters and other procedural tasks.
• Conduct discovery processes and ensure thorough analysis of case evidence.
• Collaborate on contract-related issues, including drafting and reviewing agreements.
• Offer legal counsel on union-related matters, including grievances and contract negotiations.
• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to ensure accurate legal interpretation. Requirements
• Licensed attorney with active membership in the relevant state bar.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of legal experience, preferably in civil litigation and employment law.
• Proficiency in drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documentation.
• Strong understanding of employment policies and litigation processes.
• Experience handling union-related matters, including grievances and contracts.
• Ability to supervise and mentor attorneys who are newer to the profession effectively.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in discovery and case management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and team members.
