Description Family Support Associate Program & Location:
Wareham FamilyCenter, Wareham Education:
High School or equivalent (GED)
Pay Range:
$18 – $22 per hour (Education & experience dependent)
Status:
PartTime and Full Time Schedule:
3p-11p Monday-Friday. Saturday and Sunday7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm Family Support Associate Requirements Ability toutilize the computer for all documents required during shifts assignedAdhere to professional ethics that are conducive to a healthy teamenvironment Ability to set limits and enforce rules consistently CPRCertification (Company will provide) Transportation of residents(Provide a copy of a valid Massachusetts driver?s license) Ability tolift up to 50lbs Ability to stand from 2.5 -5.5 hours daily FamilySupport Associate Duties & Responsibilities Complete knowledge of allsafety/security/emergency policies and procedures Ensure safety &security of the program while on shift Enforcement of program guidelineswhile respecting the dignity of the residents React to crisis situations& respond appropriately React to confrontations, defuse, & redirectModel proper communication & discipline practices Complete knowledge of51A filing & company procedure Maintain strong rapport & opencommunication with residents Bring all concern/issues/questionsregarding residents/staff/procedures to the supervisor Complete assignedduties on shift responsibility form during your shift Report anygrievances per company policy Answer phones & greet visitors Completefacility checks during your shift Maintain all logs, files, & memosWelcome residents, conduct entrance orientation, & documentation Conductexit paperwork at a resident?s departure Perform any other duties thatare assigned by the Program Director Family Support AssociateQualifications Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) orrelevant work and/or life experience Good written & communication skillsAbility to work with diverse populations Spanish speaking a plus ValidMass Driver?s License required
