Job Description
Description We are looking for a motivated and business-oriented entry-level attorney to join a growing national personal injury law firm in Boston, Massachusetts. This position offers a unique blend of legal practice, marketing, client engagement, and compliance oversight. The role is ideal for someone eager to drive firm growth while balancing high-level case management and strategic partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with co-counsel law firms, marketing partners, and strategic collaborators.
- Facilitate clear and consistent communication between the firm, co-counsel, and clients to ensure smooth case progress.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams on outreach strategies and branding initiatives.
- Monitor large caseloads to ensure cases are progressing efficiently while maintaining high client satisfaction.
- Proactively address client concerns to support retention and reputation management efforts.
- Handle a limited number of personal injury cases, including conducting intake, case evaluations, and litigation planning.
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, discovery materials, and settlement demands.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel, preparing cases for mediation or trial as necessary.
- Research and analyze legal compliance issues in collaboration with the firm’s general counsel.
- Review marketing content to ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards. Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law.
- At least 1 year of experience in personal injury law; 2+ years preferred.
- Proven ability to manage relationships and engage in client development.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with legal marketing strategies and business-oriented approaches.
- Ability to balance legal responsibilities with strategic and client-facing tasks.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
