Salary:

Job Details We areseeking a highly motivated Environmental Litigation Associate withover four years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidatewill have a strong background in environmental law and be admittedto practice in Massachusetts. This role involves representingclients in complex environmental litigation and appeals, providingstrategic legal counsel, and contributing to our firm’s ongoingsuccess.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in environmentallitigation and administrative proceedings. Conduct legal researchon environmental laws and regulations. Provide legal advice toclients on compliance with environmental regulations. Draft andreview legal documents, including contracts, permits, andregulatory filings. Advocate for clients during negotiations withregulatory agencies and other stakeholders. Prepare and filelawsuits and legal briefs on behalf of clients. Participate inpublic hearings and community meetings on environmental issues.
Collaborate with environmental scientists and other experts.
Monitor legislative and regulatory developments related toenvironmental law. Develop strategies to prevent environmentaldamage and ensure sustainable practices.
Qualifications:
JurisDoctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active membershipin good standing with the Massachusetts Bar. A minimum of fouryears of experience in environmental litigation. Strongunderstanding of federal, state, and local environmentalregulations. Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills. Proventrack record of successful environmental litigation. Familiaritywith environmental impact assessments and audits. Ability to workcollaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders. Stronganalytical and research skills.
