This opportunity is ideal for experienced attorneys looking to integrate into a collaborative team focused on sophisticated estate planning for high-net-worth individuals and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft a wide range of estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and powers of attorney Design and implement complex estate plans for high-net-worth individuals, including asset protection strategies Provide counsel on federal and state gifts, estate, generation-skipping, and income tax matters Handle all aspects of probate and estate administration, including court filings, trust funding, and tax filings Collaborate with clients’ financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to deliver comprehensive estate planning solutions Advise clients on charitable giving strategies, business succession planning, and wealth transfer Stay current on changes in tax laws and estate planning regulations affecting clients
Qualifications:
Substantial experience (prefer 5+ years) in trust and estate planning, including both core and complex planning Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and handle high-net-worth client needs independently Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction Our client prefers a lateral attorney with longevity and experience. Looking to replace a leader. No job hopper – experience in law firm or solo practice and take advantage of administrative IT HR.
